Album Release: Into the Night - Solar Injected

One of my best memories as child / aspiring musician, was to play along with some of my favorite artists. In the 90's and 2000s, it meant pushing play on a CD deck and switching on an amplifier, while getting lost in the sound for hours.

A favorite album for me while learning to play guitar as a teenager was Mazzy Star's "So Tonight That I Might See." The album evoked mysticism, tranquility, internal conflict, love, depth and emotion. "Into the Night" is partly a tribute to Mazzy Star's 1993 album. As such, you will experience depth in minimalism, melodic slide guitar and of course, tambourine.

"Into the Night" is a journey and therefore intended to be experienced as a complete album. In this trip through the night, the limitless sky and its lights become our canvas, as we create and move together.

It is my hope as a musician, in youthful spirit, to also inspire you to join me in this journey "Into the Night." It is my sincere hope that you take pleasure in: listening, playing along with an instrument, singing or rapping, focusing on your art / work, dancing alone, relaxing or meditating.

This instrumental album's unique arrangement allows for different listening experiences. The odd numbered tracks are the "main tracks" while the even numbered tracks are shorter interludes. If you wish, you can listen to a sort of EP version by skipping the even numbered tracks. Additionally, while piano and guitar are key instruments, the album is composed of several different genres of music:

  • 01 Waves (Chillwave, Organic EDM, Trip-hop)
  • 02 Lights in the Sky (Experimental)
  • 03 Lysis (Trip-hop, R&B)
  • 04 Wings (EDM)
  • 05 From the Dark (Post-rock, Progressive Rock)
  • 06 Visions (Experimental)
  • 07 Surrender (Chill-out, Lo-Fi)
  • 08 The Void (Ambient)
  • 09 Awakenings (Chill-out, Lo-Fi)
  • 10 Dawn (Ambient)
